Phoenix Schoolboy Coaching Status
Coach Development is vital to the clubs progress
We have 16 teams ranging from Under 8 to Under 16.
•These are run by 25 Coaches who volunteer their time to the club.
•This season we have 5 new Coaches plus 3 young lads helping out.
•Pre-season we had our second Summer Coaching Programme and we have also had 3 In-service sessions for Coaches.
•At the moment we have 29 players involved in the Academy compared to 16 at this time last season.
•Football committee are meeting to look at ways to expand the Academy, e.g. a second tier Academy.
•We are currently looking at ways to provide Goalkeeper coaching for all our goalkeepers.
Three Phoenix FC players have been selected for FAI Emerging Talent Squads, plus a number of others on the fringe.
